Obituary of Marie Alice Kidney
It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Alice Kidney announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, March 15th at the age of 91. Marie was born in Woodstock, NB, to the late Ernest and Jean (Hannah) Finnamore.
She is survived by daughter Janet (Ralph/Butch) Currie of Quispamsis, son Ross (Brenda) Kidney of Moncton; grandchildren Matt Currie, Ryan (Erin) Currie, Jed Kidney and Morgen Kidney; and her great grandsons Aiden and Owen Currie who always put a smile on her face. Marie lived, raised her family and worked as a school secretary in Fredericton for most of her life, before moving to Legion Court in Quispamsis five years ago.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital’s orthopedic and palliative care units for their very special care during her recent stay.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road in Quispamsis, NB (84-2119). For those who wish, donations may be made in Marie’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice. Due to current health concerns, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
