Obituary of Darrell Wellington Clark

It is with great sadness that the family of Darrell Clark of Rothesay announce his unexpected passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the age of 74.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane (Belyea) Clark; mother, Bernita (Steeves) Clark; sister, Donna Silk; brothers-in-law, David, Bruce and Jay (Lori) Belyea; sisters-in-law, Krisann (John) Spencer, Joanne (Danny) McDevitt and Jill (David) Logan; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, Wellington Clark; nephew, Christopher Silk and mother and father-in-law, Eleanor and Earl Belyea.

Darrell loved to spend time puttering around the yard and enjoyed sailing and skiing.  Most of all, he always had a big heart for homeless animals.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119).

For those who wish, remembrances placed in memory of Darrell may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue, CARMA (Cat Rescue Maritimes) or a local food bank in your area.
