Couldn’t believe I was reading this today! Jermey was in the bunk next to me in basic training and we helped each other with everything to complete that course. Career paths sent us in opposite directions with him being Army and myself Navy. He always did have a smile from ear to ear telling jokes. Condolences to his family

Jeremy and I were roommates when we were first posted to Petawawa. Those are some of my best memories because he always was ready with a joke. If it hadn’t been for Jeremy and Rebecca I would not have met my wife Sandra. Will always remember him. Thinking of you and your family. God Bless.

I probably meet him during my 34 years in the Signal Corps and because we both wore the same hat badge we were brothers, it is always very hard and sad to bid farewell to a brother and especially a soldier. My condolences to the family and may he be received into the Arms of our Lord and rest in Peace Forever.

We have the privilege of knowing Ben. He is a good friend of our grandson. When I go for a walk I would often see Ben doing yard work with his dad. It was always two people enjoying what they were doing. Gary and I are so very sorry for your tragic loss. We will continue to hold you up in prayer.

Jeremy, you were one of my best buddies in Petawawa and I will always remember our good times, great friendship we had and that you had with the rest of the fellas. We all admired that you were the strongest and kindest at the same time. You were truly a legend and a true pure guy. I will miss you as will the boys and you will never be forgotten. We have fond memories of Jeremy as a young boy who explored the field behind our home or played with his sisters and friends on our side lawn. It was no surprise to us that he would join the armed forces. Over the years we lost track of our once neighbours until today when we read of his sudden passing. May the love of family, the memories shared, and your faith help provide comfort in the days and weeks ahead. - Lynda and Herb
