To Mary & Family...I was shocked to hear of Ian's passing. I saw him at a funeral Mass a few pews behind me at Assumption quite recently. It had been a while since we crossed paths. I often saw you and Ian at Novena (St. Pete's) on Tuesday afternoon's. Westsiders! What can I say? We were all connected by either faith, school, sports or recreation or all of "the above". Remember the Hi-Y days and the crazy teen gatherings. Please accept my condolences. Anne Marie (McNally) Kingston.

Dear Mary,
I am very sorry to hear about Ian’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Ian for many years with Ash Temple and he always kept things very interesting. The old saying if he didn’t get er’ done one way he would get it done another applied to him. Even in retirement he would send me his many jokes which always made my day.
I hope your many fond memories of Ian will bring you comfort in the days ahead.

We are so sorry for your loss. Ian was an amazing neighbour who always had a smile on his face and kept his yard in immaculate condition:) He would always wave at the kids and chat with them about what they were doing. I will never forget when he came over with a bag full of ice cream sandwiches for the kids after they had made a get well card for him. The kids thought he was the best! I promise that his memory will live on in his old house and the kids will always know what kind people lived there before them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. He was a wonderful man.
Much love, The Stiles

As a young dentist in Saint John, Ian provided me with lots of support, which I’ve come to appreciate even more as I look back 20 years when he was my sales rep. Back then I was disappointed when he told me he was retiring, but was also happy for him for a well-deserved retirement. Thanks for everything Ian, you’ll be missed!
