Obituary of Bradley McShane

It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to Bradley (27) on April 7, 2020. The Lord has taken you from us way too young, and we pray that God, your predeceased grandparents and great aunts and uncles, were there to receive you with open arms, as we were unable to be there when your time came.

Although reserved, Bradley was a fun and dynamic person.  He loved to spend time with the love of his life, Katherine "Kat" Belyea, his friends and family.  Quick of wit, he always had a ready smile and wonderful sense of humor. He was committed to work and those around him.  His heart sang and all that knew him loved him.

Graduate of KVHS he enjoyed a successful football career; the team winning the provincial Football Championship in 2011.  Following high school, he attended NBCC-Moncton and attained a steel-fabrication diploma in 2014. At the time of his passing he was employment with Ocean Steel, and has been happy in this position.

He loved playing his guitar, and creating his own music.  During high school he played at coffee houses, and was part of a band.  He also loved his games and had lots of fun with his friends many nights over the years.

He is survived by his parents, Louise and Leonard McShane, his brother Thomas McShane, his maternal grandmother Marie Ange Doiron, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service, celebrating Bradley’s life will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd. Quispamsis, (849-2119), on Saturday, October 9, 2021, with a public visitation from 10-12pm; a memorial service will follow from 3-6pm.

Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the visitation and funeral service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government-issued ID, or proof of medical exemption.

Donations to the United Way of Greater Saint John Inc, 28 Richmond St, Saint John, NB E2L 3B2 or to your favorite youth organization in your community would be appreciated by the family.

In your thoughts we will touch.
In your dreams we will meet.
Now our hearts beat as one.
I am your shadow.
I'll always be close.

Hear my voice in the wind.
See our dance in a song.
Feel my warmth in the sun.
Remember, I'll always be close.

Do not weep for my loss.
Time will pass...
Pain will fade...
You will laugh, and I'll smile.
Live your life, I'll always be close.
