Obituary of Diana Mary Elizabeth Colepaugh

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Diana Mary Elizabeth Colepaugh, wife of Daniel Colepaugh, which occurred on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at her residence at the age of 66. Born on January 21, 1952, in Kelly Beach, NB, she was a daughter of the late Selime and Florence (Kelly) Doucet. Besides her husband of 38 years, Diana is survived by her children; Jeffrey (Christine) of Quispamsis, and Stephanie Barter (Scott) of Willow Grove, NB, grandchildren; Henry, Nora and Thomas Colepaugh, Alicia and Andrew Barter, sisters; Linda Daigle (Tom) and Bernadette Hebert (Edgar) both of Kouchibouguac, Hilda Simard (ReJean) and Shirley (Michel) both of St. Louis de Kent, and Anna Cormier (Romeo) of Tweedie Brook, brothers; Danny (Rena), Arthur (Debbie), Richard (Colinda) all of Aldouce, and Patrick (Katherine) of Shediac, as well as several nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by her parents and sister Susan. After raising her children, Diana worked for a number of years at King's County Home Care. Diana enjoyed being a member of the Red Hatters, making Christmas crafts, fishing, boating, and spending summers at the camp with her family and friends. Diana will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the caring doctors and nurses in Halifax and Saint John and the Extramural Nurses. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Sunday from 6- 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis, on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10AM. Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Diana's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of a charity of the donor's choice.
