Obituary of Joseph Leroy Northorp

The death of Joseph "Joey" Leroy Northorp occurred at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born on April 5, 1958 in Ottawa, ON, he was a son of the late Ronald and Audrey (Trumble) Northorp. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his brothers; Gerry (Karen) of Kentucky, Richard (Brenda) of Saint John, John of Fredericton, sisters; Bernice Gerrard (Bill) of Rothesay, Audrey of Saint John, and Joy Bickford (Rusty) of Maine, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joey is predeceased by his brother Peter, and several aunts and uncles. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Mill Cove Nursing Home for their care and compassion towards Joey, where he was a resident for twenty years. At the family's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Graveside service will take place at Rothesay Baptist Cemetery on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 2PM. Remembrances in memory of Joey may be made to Mill Cove Nursing Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119).
