Obituary of Joseph Alan Dempsey

The death of Joseph Alan Dempsey of Quispamsis, NB, occurred at Shannex Embassy Hall, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Born on April 12, 1945 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Simoneau) Dempsey. Joe was a plumber and pipefitter for many years, he was a member of U.A. Local #213 Joe is survived by his sister, Theresa Guthrie DeGennaro, who adored her baby brother and his infectious laugh. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family is grateful to the staff of Embassy Hall, for their care and compassion. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. Joe will be laid to rest with his beloved mother, Evelyn at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
