Obituary of Michael Shane Lennon

After a brief illness, Michael Shane Lennon of Quispamsis, husband of Wendy (Wheaton) Lennon, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Plaster Rock, NB on July 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Frederick Lennon and the late Maxine (Allaby) Melvin. Mike was a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed playing the guitar, dancing, music, motorcycles and conversations. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Vicki DeVeau (Rick LeRoy), Misty Lennon (Gordie McMillan), Lindsay Gamblin (Malcolm Scott) and Ashley Landry (Mark) all of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Devin and Darin DeVeau, Gordie Jr., Nathan, and Morgan McMillan, Tanner and Conner Gamblin, sister, Wanda Lennon-Stone (Ken), brother, Fred Lennon (Lori), as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his son-in-law, Allan DeVeau. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. In lieu of memorial donations, Mike wishes for everyone to help someone in need with a simple act of kindness.
