Obituary of Eric Arthur Vincent

With his loving wife by his side, we announce the death of Eric Arthur Vincent, which occurred on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB on February 19, 1953, he was a son of the late Sylvia Vincent. Eric was employed with Dobson Chrysler Dodge for thirty years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and enjoyed nature. Besides his wife, Elaine (Slocum) Vincent, Eric is survived by his son Gregory Vincent (Shalometh) of Quispamsis, daughter Jill Vincent of Quispamsis, sisters; Betty-Lou Stelling (Manfred) of Calgary, AB, Kim Vincent (Jamie) of Fredericton, NB and Karen Vincent (John) of Harvey, NB, grandchildren; Aidan, Dylan, Amelia, and Lily Vincent, mother-in-law Mary Slocum, aunt Rose Haanstra, uncle Richard Richardson, as well as several nieces and nephews. Eric was predeceased by his father-in-law, Clifford Slocum. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Quispamsis Road, Quispamsis, on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Young's Cove Road, NB. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
