Obituary of Rita Duffley

For a life well lived and a woman well loved, the family of Rita Duffley wish to announce her passing at Rocmaura Nursing Home on March 30, 2019. Born on June 17, 1923, Rita was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Ellen (McLaughlin) Duffley.

Rita's career was spent in printing with Barnes Hopkins and ending as a partner with Lingley Printing but her biggest love and greatest accomplishment was teaching the Altar boys at Our Lady of Perpetual Help for many, many years.

Rita is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Louis (Leona), Jim (Rita), Norman (Eileen) and Edmund (Clare).

Rita will be resting at  Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119 with visitation on Thursday, April 4 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 31 Gondola Point Road,  Rothesay on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The interment will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Rita may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
