Obituary of Jackie Bryanton

Surrounded by her loving family, the passing of Jacqueline Merritt (Rickard) Bryanton, wife of the late Alton “Al” Bryanton, occurred on December 19, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 13, 1951 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marion (Merritt) Rickard and sister to the late Kathryn Watt. Jackie was employed with Scotiabank for 29 years until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed reading and travelling; but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Jackie is survived by her sons; David (Kaia) of London, ON, and Matthew (Marisa) of Willow Grove, NB, her brother Christopher Rickard (Denise) of Fredericton, her Grandchildren; Mackenzie, Isla, Michael, Mila & Maisie, Aunt Betty Fillmore, Cousin Leslee Fielding, Nephew Craig Hazlett, Special Friends Judy & Gerry Munn, Truly Hayward, Nancy & Leroy MacKinnon and Bob & Evelyn Pierce; as well as a large family from the Bryanton Clan of PEI. In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Internment will take place at People’s Cemetery (Malpeque, PEI) at a later date in 2020. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
