Obituary of Mark Palmer Langille

Mark Palmer Langille of Hammond River died unexpectedly on April 2, 2012. Much loved by his wife Leslie (Harding) and adored by his son Drew. Born on July 29, 1960, Mark is survived by his parents Bertha (Miller) and Ivan Langille of Grand Bay as well as his brother Stewart (Irene) of San Francisco. Mark was an accomplished marine mechanic and spent many happy hours boating on the Kennebecasis and Saint John Rivers. He had a great love of the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. However, his greatest pleasure in life was being a father to Drew. He loved watching Drew play hockey, lacrosse, golf and baseball and never missed a game despite many health challenges over the last few years. Mark will also be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Bruce Harding (Beth) and Geoff Harding (Mary Ann), sister-in-law Lynn McMackin (Gerry), mother-in-law Peggy Harding, as well as many wonderful friends, especially Ian Swanton and Hugh Macdonald. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Friday, April 6th, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at the chapel of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home on Saturday, April 7th, 2012, at 11:00 AM.
