Surrounded by his family, the death of Ronald Lloyd Smitheram, of Quispamsis, husband of M. Barbara (Abray) Smitheram, occurred on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. He owned the Train Trax Hobby Shop in Rothesay for several years until his retirement. Ron was a Queen and King Scout and was a member of Master Brewer’s Association of America. He enjoyed golfing, stamp collection, model trains, and art. Ron will be missed for his feisty sense of humor. Besides his wife, Ron is survived by his daughter, Amanda Smitheram (Tim Maxwell) of Quispamsis, sister Joan McKaye of Apsley, ON, and his beloved cat Baxter. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
