Obituary of Phyllis Eleanor Campbell

With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Phyllis Eleanor Campbell of Quispamsis, wife of the late William Campbell, which occurred on December 24, 2016, surrounded by her family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on October 24, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ruby (Craft) McCullum. Phyllis was employed with Parkway Cinemas, the Racetrack and Charm Jewelry for several years. Phyllis and her sisters had a jewelry business and could be found at Craft Shows and Christmas events. Phyllis belonged to a Book Club, and enjoyed attending church events. Survived by her children; Scott Campbell (Heather) of Saint John, and Alyson Middleton (Terry) of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Taylor Campbell, Jordan (Lesley) and Shane Duguay, step-grandchildren; Nathan, and Krista (Matthew), Jessica (Cory), and Jason (Amanda), great-granddaughters, Katelyn, and Arya, as well as several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her brother, Jack McCullum, sisters; Dorothy, Roberta, Winnifred, Gertrude, Thelma, Muriel, and Vivian. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Wednesday, from 4 - 7 PM . Memorial Service will be held at Kennebecasis Funeral Home on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the SPCA.
