Born in Tracadie , NB on May 18,1926 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Hélène (Losier) Losier. Albertine was predeceased by her husband Philip (1996) and son Gary (2003). She was also predeceased by her brothers Daniel, Charles ,Felix and her sisters Bernadette, Ida, Josephine, Rita and Hélène. She is survived by sons Philip (JoAnn), Eldon (Charlene), Tom all of Saint John and daughters Pat (Kevin Gormley), Sheila (Jack Gardner) and Bonnie (Georges Richard) all of Quispamsis. She is also survived by her brother Pierre Losier (Jeannita) of Charlottetown PEI and sister Geralda Lebelle (Albert) of Montreal PQ. Mom was a hardworking, loving mother who raised her seven children in the South End of Saint John. She was the happiest in her kitchen feeding her tribe as well as our friends who we often brought home unannounced. There was always room for one more at her table to enjoy the cooking and baking. She was famous for her specially prepared meat pies that she generously gifted to family and friends every Christmas. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis NB, there will be time to visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Albertine, will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road Quispamsis on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10AM. The family is extending an invitation to everyone to a reception that will follow the Mass in the church hall. A private interment is planned for the spring. From all members of our family we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the special care and attention Mom received from Dr. Douglas Hall, the staff at Kingsway Care Center and the Gem Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital. In Albertine’s memory donations may be made to “The Alzheimer Society of Canada” or the “St. Mark’s Catholic Church Building Fund”.
