Obituary of James Stuart Case

It is with heavy hearts, the family of James Stuart Case, announce his death, which occurred on June 17, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer at Bobby's hospice with his family by his side. Jim was born in Saint John on January 12, 1952 to the late John and Jean (Ryder) Case, and loving husband to Patricia (Jorgensen) Case. Besides being forever missed by his wife Patricia of 44 years, Jim was a proud father to sons; Michael, daughter in law, Shannon (Jones) of Quispamsis, and Andrew, daughter in law, Meghan (MacGillivary) of Antigonish, NS. Grandfather to "The Five Loves Of His Life" Myles, Annabella, Lucas, Liam and Juliette. Jim also leaves to mourn his brothers, Gary (Mary Jane), Robert (Elaine), mother in law Margaret Logue, brother in law Stephen Jorgensen (Mary Beth), Richard Jorgensen and Sharron Hughes (John), also several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as all those whose lives Jim touched throughout his life. Jim was in Sales and Partner with C.A. Munroe for 25 years before his retirement. Jim's first love was his family, his grandchildren meant everything to him, his greatest joy was having our family all together and feeling pride with them all. He was an avid golfer and will be missed by his golfing buddies here as well as Florida. His sense of humour and quick wit was well known and will be missed by all! "The Jimmy Knew All" Our heartfelt thanks goes out to Dr. O'Brien, Dr. Wildish, Dr. Hemmings, Dr. Harrigan, Dr. Burnell and Dr. Campbell, all the nurses and staff in Oncology and Palliative Care as well as the Extra Mural team, you are all loved and appreciated by us.
