Obituary of James Wesley Ellis

The family of James "Jim" Wesley Ellis announces his passing on Thursday January 4, 2018 at his home in Rothesay. Born in Saint John on July 17, 1915, he was a son of the late Andrew and Bessie (Dallon) Ellis. Jim attended Vocational School, training as a sheet metal worker and worked for Emerson's and then Pascal-Emerson's before retirement in 1982. Jim is survived by his children: James (the late Frances), Joan Seepman (the late John), Joyce Henderson (Doug), Lois Miller (Gordon), Ronald (Diane), Cecil, Linda Carlson (David), and George (Margaret), 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. Jim was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Marr) Ellis, son Kenneth, brothers: Ronald and Harvey, half sisters: Viola Henderson and Helen McIssac. As per the family's request there will be no visitation. A family interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens in the spring. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). For those who wish remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
