Obituary of Robert Leigh Wood

Age 72, died suddenly December 23 at home. Born July 2, 1941 in Halifax, he was the son of the late Frederick Edward Wood and Alice Marie (Hencher) Wood. After graduating from Halifax Vocational School, he embarked on a long career with Guildfords Ltd. He was an avid golfer and fly fisherman, and loved to read about both. He is survived by a daughter Kara of Winnipeg, son Rick of Switzerland, brother Stephen of Dartmouth, grandchildren Anna, Connor and Olivia. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Clark), and brothers Peter and David. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are invited to a funeral service at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay on Thurday, January 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119).
